The implementation of the Ministry of Russia developed the project “Rehabilitation of the Volga river” by 2020 will be nine times cleaner.
According to the newspaper “Izvestia”, the decision to start the project was made at the meeting of the government Presidium on June 28.
Its purpose is to reduce nine times reset the Volga contaminated waste water, eliminating the most hazardous objects of accumulated environmental damage, ensuring the conservation of biodiversity, the system of the Volga-Akhtuba floodplain and the Volga Delta.
According to the project, by 2020 at the facilities that negatively impact the environment, will be installed automated systems to monitor wastewater.
