The Moscow metro station “Lermontovsky Prospekt” appeared posters with information about the optimum time for the trip. This was reported to journalists by the first Deputy head of the subway for strategic development and client work Roman Latypov, reports RIA Novosti.
According to him, specialists expect thus to decongest metro during peak hours that passengers are not riding in overcrowded wagons.
Latypov noted that the experiment on the Lermontovsky Prospekt station will allow you to learn whether such a measure. “We are looking at how to make a better communication, looking for the right way to communicate to passengers,” he said.
Deputy chief of metro added that at some stations it is enough to come on 15 minutes earlier than usual, to avoid a heavily loaded train.
According to Latypov, the Moscow subway is used daily by 8.5 million passengers. He stressed that in some countries, the authorities increased the cost of travel in the metro during peak hours: for example, in London and Beijing, reported online edition m24.ru.
