In Kyrgyzstan on a working visit there has arrived the Chairman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matvienko. Honored guest was received by President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev.
During the meeting the head of state stressed the importance of the visit of Valentina Matvienko for the whole of Kyrgyzstan.
– The Federation Council, under your leadership, is helping Kyrgyzstan in all matters, not only in those presented in the media. Do you root for us, – said Atambayev.
Speaking in response, Valentina Matvienko thanked the Kyrgyz President for the support of the cultural forum “the Children of the Commonwealth”, which these days takes place in the Republic.
The last time I visited Kyrgyzstan in 2014 – said Matvienko. – Time flies, but I still remember the warm, pleasant trip. This time our visit was connected with the invitation of the speaker of your Parliament. In addition, I, as Chairman of the Interparliamentary Assembly, for the fifth time organise international cultural and educational forum of the CIS countries “the Children of the Commonwealth”. It is very important, when the children of CIS and teachers going on this forum. Thus, we create a common humanitarian space. It is very important that our the younger generation were friends with their peers from other countries. Because we are bound by common traditions.
In the program of stay of the Chairman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of Russia the meeting with the speaker of Parliament of Kyrgyzstan Chynybay by Tursunbekova and familiarization with the camp, where the international cultural and educational forum of the CIS “the Commonwealth of Children”, participation in its work and the closing ceremony of the event.
