After the publication of the photographs, the press Secretary of Governor Brian Murray admitted that Christie’s on the beach was — but supposedly very long. According to the press Secretary, the Governor only spoke with his wife and children and went to work.
Christie himself said that his family spent the weekend at the Governor’s residence and he soon left there to work by helicopter.
“The way it works. Become a Governor and then you will have there residence”, — he said at a press conference.
At the weekend, all state parks in new Jersey and free beaches were not working, because the local legislators did not meet the deadline for the adoption of the law on health insurance.
New Jersey were among nine States that failed to adopt the budget until the beginning of July as planned.
