MOSCOW, July 4. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin is satisfied with the significant increase in trade with China, intends to discuss with President XI Jinping not only economic issues but also security concerns.
Opening the meeting with the Chinese President in the Kremlin, the Russian leader called official XI Jinping’s visit to Russia “the key terms of the construction of bilateral relations this year.”
“I am pleased to note that last year we observed modest but still growth in turnover and 3.9%, this year it is already significant – 37% in the first four months”, – said Putin.
“Economic issues are always at the centre of our attention, but we do not, we are engaged in the integration of our efforts in the international arena, in the sphere of security, combating modern threats and challenges,” – said the Russian leader.
