Moscow. July 3. INTERFAX.RU the Ministry of housing and communal services of the Moscow region promises for days to restore hot water supply in apartments of inhabitants of the Wedge, which on Monday came out to protest due to prolonged lack of water in their homes.
“Hot water in some houses of the Wedge is not for a few days. (…) The hot water will come to apartments of townspeople during the day,” — told “Interfax” in the press service of Minzhkh Moscow region with reference to Deputy head of Department Vladimir Miller.
The press service said that the hot water off occurred in 33 apartment houses, with a population of almost 4.5 million inhabitants.
Earlier media reported that on Monday, about 150 residents of the Wedge has blocked traffic in the city on the Leningrad highway in protest due to the lack of hot water.
According to the suburban Minzhkh, the hot water was turned off was because “gas boiler serving hot water supply to houses has been suspended due to accumulated debts to suppliers of resources.” The Department explained that the owners of private boiler-house transfer funds to the service provider, but with the public payments continue to gather, as a result, and has debt, which led to the shutdown of hot water.
