The U.S. Senate has corrected a technical error in the bill on new sanctions against Russia, which prevented direct it for consideration in the house of representatives, RIA Novosti reported. According to some, the bill has already been submitted to the Board.

It is reported that the matter was resolved without significant changes in the bill.

Note that the bill envisages a reduction in the minimum period of financing of Russian banks and oil companies. In addition, within 180 days, the U.S. Treasury must submit a report describing the possible effects of increased sanctions on a sovereign Russian debt.

We will remind that earlier the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that he had secured the promise of the leaders of the European Union to extend sanctions against Russia. According to him, he was happy about this news.
