MOSCOW, 3 Jul — RIA Novosti. Press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov commented on the situation with sanctions of the USA against diplomatic property of the Russian Federation, noting that the patience of Russia is running out, and the principle of reciprocity has not been canceled.
The administration of U.S. President Barack Obama at the end of December 2016 introduced a package of anti-Russian sanctions because of “intervention in election” and “pressure on American diplomats” working in Russia. Among other things, the U.S. closed access to two residential complexes, the so — called suburban “summer cottages” Russia’s permanent mission in new York and the Russian Embassy in Washington, which is the Russian diplomatic property. Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov, commenting on the arrest of Russian property in the U.S., said that Moscow considers the internal difficulties of the US President Donald trump, but without a response it will not leave, if Washington will not do anything.
The Washington Post, citing sources familiar with the situation, reported that the administration of the tramp in the study of the question of the return of Russia arrested earlier diplomatic property considering the possibility of depriving these areas of diplomatic immunity.
