The brightest events of June the Russians called “straight line” with the President and the hurricane
Moscow. July 3. INTERFAX.RU — “Direct line with Vladimir Putin” became the most memorable event of the last four weeks to 39% of Russians, has informed “Interfax” in the “Levada-Center”.
In second place — hurricane in Moscow/Central Russia (25%), the third abnormally cold summer in Russia (23%).
In the top five of the most memorable events of the month as rising prices/devaluation of money/the deterioration of living standards (22%), the story of 6-year-old boy in Balashikha, who died in a road accident (19%).
Another 17% of respondents made the list of the celebration of “Russia Day” on June 12, 15% — armed clashes in the Donbass, 13% of the Confederations Cup in football, 12% — 9th may.
Every tenth thought of the rallies against corruption on 12 June, brought to Russia the relics of St. Nicholas, about the mass murder in Tver region (10%).
The survey was conducted June 23-26 among 1,600 people aged 18 years and older in 137 localities of the 48 regions of the Russian Federation. The events were not read to respondents; they call the events that are remembered.
