Zvyagintsev’s film “Dislike” received the Grand Prix at festival in Munich
MOSCOW, 1 Jul — RIA Novosti. The film Andrei Zvyagintsev’s “Dislike” won the main prize at the international film festival in Munich (Filmfest München), reported the press service of the film “Non-Stop Prodakshn”.

The talent of Andrei Zvyagintsev, allowing you to talk to a lot of the familiar story of the crisis of family relationships fresh, emotional and deep, making his films a universal, understandable in any geographical point of the world”, — the press service quoted the film’s producer Alexander Rodnyansky.
Rodnyansky expressed confidence that the success of the film at international film festivals “contributes to the long life of the film and its rolling destiny”.
Together with “Dislike” in the main competition program of CineMasters were the films “happy ending” by Michael Haneke, “the Young Godard” Michel Hazanavichus, “Fatal temptation” Sofia Coppola and others.
Film festival in Munich, held annually since 1983 and is one of the biggest audience cinema event in Germany.
The film “Hate” tells the story of modern Moscow family, is experiencing a severe, painful divorce. The main characters (Jack and Boris) — even spouses, but each of them has actually started a new Chapter in life, and because they can’t wait to do away with the formalities and divorce. In a series of endless conflicts and mutual claims Zhenya and Boris neglect their only child, 12-year-old Alyosha, who feels the absolute uselessness of both parents. Suddenly, after another quarrel Alesha disappears.
World premiere of the film “Dislike” was held in the main competition program of the jubilee of the 70-th Cannes film festival where the film was awarded the jury Prize.
“Dislike” is the fifth film by Andrei Zvyagintsev, awarded the world’s largest film festival. His first film — “the Return” won the prize of the Venice film festival as the best film and best debut. The second film “the Banishment” won a prize at the Cannes film festival “best actor”. The third film, Elena, won the special prize of UN certain regard at the Cannes film festival. Fourth, the “Leviathan” received the prize “best screenplay” at the 67th Cannes film festival and a Golden globe as best foreign language film and a nomination for the award “Oscar”.
