The Prosecutor’s office began an investigation after the mass delays at Moscow airports due to weather. The Department stated that they intend to check how airlines comply with passenger rights and delayed flights.
Moscow interregional transport Prosecutor’s office on Saturday began an investigation in connection with possible violation of the rights of airline passengers after delays and cancellations over 110 flights from Moscow airports. A message posted on the Agency’s website.
“Today, July 1, 2017, in the Moscow aviation hub airports delayed and cancelled more than 110 flights — In connection with the Prosecutor’s office initiated verification, gathering of information in connection with the possible violation of airline licensing legislation”, — stated in the message.
The Prosecutor’s office stated that the office intends to pay special attention to the rights of passengers.
“In case of detection of such violations will be taken exhaustive measures of public Prosecutor’s reaction”, — is spoken in the message.

According to the portal at 16.00 MSK on July 1, Domodedovo and Sheremetyevo detained on 75 flights in Vnukovo was arrested 1 flight and one cancelled. Another 26 flights from Domodedovo has been cancelled.
At the request of the Ministry of emergency situations, storm will be in Moscow on Saturday. Strong wind and rain will be held in the capital from 13.00 to 19.00 MSK.
