Moscow police takes measures to suppress attempts to organize an unsanctioned rally in the city centre. About this “Interfax” reported the head of the Moscow Department of regional security and counteraction of corruption Vladimir Chernikov.
“Supporters of opposition leader Alexei Navalny went to a blatant provocation, they gathered in the center of the capital and shouted slogans,” he said.
Navalny, calling on his supporters to go to Tverskaya street instead of the Avenue Sakharov, where the authorities allowed to hold a rally, were detained in the entrance of his house. The policy imputed to two offences: repeated violation of the rules of organization of meetings (part 8 of article 20.2 of the administrative code) and disobedience to the lawful order of a police officer (article 19.3 of the administrative code). An unauthorized rally on Tverskaya began around noon on 12 June, there is now a festival reconstruction “Times and epochs.
