PARIS, 11 Feb — RIA Novosti, Victoria Ivanova. Become a popular hashtag on Twitter which accompany the record of passing Sunday in France’s parliamentary elections, contains a spelling error.

More than three thousand messages in the microblog came with the hashtag #legistatives2017, although the correct writing should look like legislatives.

Hashtag error used not just simple bloggers, but also the leading French media, in particular AFP and newspaper Monde. “Distinguished” and some French policy — for example, the leader of the movement “Rebellious France,” Jean-Luc Mélenchon. This hashtag is also used by the Institute of public opinion poll Ipsos.

The first round of parliamentary elections takes place on Sunday in the French metropolis. A second round of voting in those constituencies where the winner is decided immediately, on June 18.
