Zakharov suggested leading CNN to interview the “symbol of the suffering of Aleppo”

The official representative of Russian foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova invited leading CNN’s Christiane Amanpour to arrive in Syria in order to do an honest interview with a Syrian boy from Aleppo by Omran Technichem, whose photo became a symbol of the tragic situation of children in the city in 2016.
The story received wide attention after the media published a video “Medical center of Aleppo,” about the rescue of a child whose house blocked by militants in the Eastern area of the city was destroyed. The official representative of the defense Ministry major-General Igor Konashenkov denied reports of foreign media about the alleged inflicted on the evening of 17 August 2016 air strike on al-Katerji Aleppo, Syria. Earlier, the father of the injured in the air strikes of the Syrian boy, Omran Danisha said in an interview with videoagentstvo RT Ruptly that the militants greatly exaggerated the severity of the injuries of his son, and used his photographs for personal gain.
