MOSCOW, June 6. /TASS/. The President of Russia Vladimir Putin has suggested the state Duma to consider the introduction of the ceremony of swearing or of the oath for those who enter into the citizenship of the Russian Federation.
“When a person enters into the citizenship of our country, here it would be possible to think and to take the experience of some foreign countries, when is the oath, the oath, the other the solemn act by which man confirms his intention to become a citizen of our country, to abide by its laws, traditions, respect the traditions and history and so on, – he said at the meeting with the speaker of the lower chamber Vyacheslav Volodin”.
