Russian President Vladimir Putin began a plenary session of the St. Petersburg international economic forum with jokes. On Friday, June 2, RIA Novosti reported.
“At ease!” — ordered by the President to the participants who welcomed his standing. In the hall I heard laughter, everyone took their places.
In the plenary session this year involved the Prime Minister of India, Narendra modi, Federal Chancellor of Austria, Christian Kern, and the President of Moldova Igor Dodon. To moderate the discussion will be the American TV presenter Megyn Kelly.
Earlier today Putin took part in the meeting of “Business-dialogue Russia — the USA”. During the discussion he stated that Russian-American relations are at the lowest point since the cold war. “This could not be reflected on the economy and on our business partnership,” he said.
