Russia declared persona non grata five employees of the Embassy of Moldova
Moscow. May 31. INTERFAX.RU Five employees of the Embassy of Moldova in Russia will be expelled from the country in retaliation for the expulsion of Russian diplomats from Chisinau, said in the foreign Ministry of the Russian Federation.
“May 31, Minister Counsellor of the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in the Russian Federation Nikolay Myna was invited to the foreign Ministry where he was handed a note, which States that in response to the expulsion on may 29, five Russian diplomats from Chisinau, five members of the Moldovan diplomatic mission in Moscow, declared a “persona non grata”, and they were ordered to leave the territory of the Russian Federation within three days”, — stated in the message on the website dipvedomstva.
“The Russian side expressed the hope that Chisinau is aware of the counterproductive to their hostile actions against the Russian Federation and the destructive nature undertaken by the Moldovan side step, runs counter to the principles of partnership and mutual trust,” — said on Smolensk square.
On Monday, five diplomats of the Russian Embassy in Moldova were declared persona non grata. They were ordered to leave the country within 72 hours.
30 may the President of Moldova Igor Dodon has declared, that will demand explanations from officials, responsible for the expulsion of Russian diplomats.
