The Deputy of the state Duma Natalia Poklonskaya initiated the audit in relation to the film Director Alexey Uchitel on their own initiative. This was stated by the speaker of the lower house of Parliament, Vyacheslav Volodin on Friday, may 26, reports TASS.
According to him, Polonskaya did not ask fellow MPs, including members of the relevant Committee to combat corruption, to support her in this matter.
At the same time, Volodin stressed that parliamentarians have a right to make inquiries to the departments — this is enshrined in Federal legislation and the Constitution. “With regard to inspection agencies, they can assign the test and can refuse the check, explaining their position,” — said Volodin.
Earlier Friday Poklonskaya told journalists that he had sent to the competent authorities of several parliamentary queries to validate Teacher movie “Matilda”. The reason for this is the numerous complaints of citizens, she explained. Inspection is carried out on the subject of insulting religious feelings of believers, as well as for violations related to spending of budgetary funds.
May 25, lawyer, Teacher Konstantin Dobrynin said that the police started to check the film Director on tax crimes. According to him, the check was initiated Poklonskaya.
