CAIRO, may 25 — RIA news, Margarita Kislova. The death toll in the attack on the bus with Christians Copts in southern Egypt has risen to 28 people, said the TV channel IT-TV by the Governor of the province of Minya, where the attack occurred, ISAM al-Baghawi.

“To date, hospitals in El-Minya are 28 bodies of the victims,” — said the Governor. Earlier, the Ministry of health of Egypt reported 26 victims, representatives of the Coptic Church — about 35 victims of the terrorist attack.

Unknown three vehicles on Friday morning opened fire with machine guns a bus with Christians-Copts. The attack occurred in the area of the monastery of St. Samuel to the West of the village of al-Adwa the province of Minya in southern Egypt. The Christians were sent to the convent of Beni-Safa.

Presumably, the column bus may follow a minibus and a jeep with an open trunk, which also could be people. On the bus, presumably, were about 40 children. Representatives of the Coptic Church reported that most of the dead were children.
