In Russia in the ranks of the young pioneers consist of more than 300 thousand children. These data led Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist party, state Duma Deputy Yuri Afonin, reports TASS on Thursday, may 18.
The MP said that the Communist party has a youth organization — Leninist Communist Union of youth. According to Afonina, he became one of the most energetic and influential youth organizations in the country. First secretaries of regional branches of the Union the Deputy has described as “the Communists of new generation”.
Communist party leader Gennady Zyuganov has repeatedly proposed to actively promote the pioneer on the Internet. In 2015, he put forward the idea to create a social network for the pioneers. And in 2013 — to gather a group of “red bloggers” who have engaged in the destruction of the anti-Communist myths and break the “information blockade”.
May 19 will mark 95 years since the founding of the pioneer organization. The pioneers took children 10 to 15 years. They collected donations for the eradication of famine in the Volga region, fought against the Nazi forces during the great Patriotic war in the occupied territories and in the rear, helped industry in the postwar period.
The successor of the all-Union pioneer organization named after V. I. Lenin considers himself a public Association “Union of pioneer organizations — Federation of children’s organizations”, the registered Ministry of justice of Russia in 1992 as a non-governmental organization, independent from political parties and movements.
