The communications Ministry has called a pointless lock on Russian social networks in Ukraine
Moscow. May 16. INTERFAX.RU — Lock in Ukraine, popular Russian social networks and search engines — a meaningless decision that will lead to discredit the authorities and legal nihilism, said Deputy Minister of communications and mass communications Alexei Volin.
“If you are doing the bulk of the popular resource, then you discredit the government because it shows that the decision power is not realistic, it costs. You educate the citizens, legal nihilism and increase their computer literacy,” — said Wolin reporters on Tuesday.
Therefore, it is pointless, discrediting the Ukrainian leadership next decision. Not the first and probably not the last. But it’s a favorite pastime of Ukrainian authorities to shoot yourself in the foot.Alexey Volendammer of Telecom and mass communications
According to him, “this decision will lead to an unprecedented increase of computer literacy of the Ukrainian population, and to the fact that the people of Ukraine will immediately master the anonymizers VPN services and a huge number of programs, allowing to bypass the lock.”
“Lock is effective only when a lock resource, there is broad consensus as regards child pornography, drugs or suicide promotion. When in society, there are mass desire this lock to get around,” said Wolin.
He noted that the response should not be taken to “not assimilate”.
