The Moscow city court upheld the fine imposed on opposition leader Alexei Navalny for organizing uncoordinated action in the capital on March 26, reports TASS.

“The decision of the Tver court of Moscow upheld the claim Navalny — without satisfaction”, — said the interlocutor of the Agency in court.

Earlier in March, the Moscow city court upheld the administrative arrest of the opposition leader.

Navalny was detained March 26, in the center of Moscow. The next day, the Tverskoy district court Navalny was arrested for 15 days for disobeying the police. The opposition leader was fined 20 thousand rubles for the organization of mass stay of people in public places, which caused violation of public order.

Anti-corruption rally in Central Moscow have not been agreed: the Moscow government offered as an alternative Sokolniki and Lublin, however, the organizers of this variant refused. During the event, police detained, according to different data, from 600 to a thousand people. Similar rallies the same day were also held in several cities of Russia.
