Putin discussed the situation in the DPRK, with the new President of South Korea

The President of Russia Vladimir Putin held telephone talks with the new South Korean counterpart mun Jae Otherwise. This was reported on the Kremlin website on Friday, may 12.

“The sides discussed topical issues of bilateral and international agenda. (…) The exchange of views on the situation on the Korean Peninsula underlined the importance of finding ways of politico-diplomatic settlement of the crisis”, — stated in the message.

The two leaders also expressed their willingness to cooperate in various sectors. In addition, the Russian President wished moon Jae Inu success in his new post.
