The Chairman of the Federation Council Commission on information policy Alexei Pushkov called “absurd” the US desire to keep track of the ports of Russia due to the sanctions against the DPRK.

“In Russia US laws do not apply, if the Congress does not know. Control of Russian ports is outside of international law. An absurd law”, — Pushkov wrote on his Twitter page.

As reported by RNS, the House of representatives passed a bill on toughening sanctions against the DPRK. The law requires including tracking possible violations of the resolutions of the UN security Council against Pyongyang through the ports of Nakhodka, Vanino and Vladivostok.
