In the Kremlin declined to comment on the words of the head of the Federal Bureau of investigation United States (FBI) James Comey, who called Russia the main threat to democracy. He also noted that the reaction of the us administration can be regarded as “pass in the direction of Russia”.
On may 3, the FBI Director stated that Russia is “the greatest threat among the Nations of the Earth” for the democratic process, and accused Moscow of meddling in American politics.
Press Secretary of the White house Sean Spicer, in turn, noted that this is the view of the Department.
American intelligence agencies and representatives of the administration of the previous President Barack Obama has repeatedly accused Moscow of meddling in the presidential election. In the Kremlin, they consistently deny.
