Suspended camps near Izhevsk after the mass poisoning of children
Moscow. May 2. INTERFAX.RU — Rospotrebnadzor has suspended the work of children’s camp “Friendship” near Izhevsk, where on Tuesday night the poisoned teenagers, the press service of the regional Department of the Ministry.
“All anti-epidemic activities are organized and conducted, camp suspended, the catering Department is closed, samples of food, water, children are taken out”, — stated in the message.
The Supervisory authority notes that the participants of the championship was substantially more than can be accommodated by the camp.
“This event is organized in the camp without notifying the Department of Rospotrebnadzor for the Republic of Udmurtia. Just imported 500 children with the estimated population of the camp on 380 children,” — said in a press release.
The office of Rospotrebnadzor reports that hospitalized 41 people.
Earlier, the Deputy Minister of health of Udmurtia Lyudmila Koznishev reported that 48 hospitalized adolescents. According to the press-service of administration of Izhevsk affected by the poisoning — 65.
