The incident occurred on Sunday night in the municipality of hoods, to the East of Hamburg on the A24 motorway.
According to police, three young people wanted to move to the other side of the road, but stopped in the middle of the motorway to take photos
One of the three friends, 22-year-old young man was hit by a car the Audi A6, at the wheel which was a 73-year-old man, police said. Companions of the victim was given medical assistance in connection with shock. The police does not exclude that shortly before the incident, the young people could drink alcohol.
As informs television channel ITV, the family of Briton notified about the incident. As noted by the official representative of the foreign Ministry of great Britain, the government is in contact with the local authorities in connection with the incident.
