The DNI and the LC warned about introduction of external management at Ukrainian enterprises

The head of the breakaway Donetsk and Lugansk national republics Alexander Zakharchenko and Igor Plotnitsky had announced his intention to introduce from 1 March, the Ukrainian enterprises of external management in the case, if it is not lifted the blockade of Donbass. On Monday, February 27, according to a published on the website of Luganskinform the joint statement of the leaders of the DNI and LC.

“If to 00.00 Wednesday (1 March 2017) the embargo is not lifted, we will introduce external management at all enterprises of the Ukrainian jurisdiction, working in DND and LNR (…). We will cease to supply coal to Ukraine”, — the statement says.

Zakharchenko and Plotnitsky have accused Kiev that using radicals, blocking the railway track in the Donbass. Because of this, many enterprises were forced to stop their work, stressed the head of DND and LNR.

The leaders of the breakaway republics said that they will “rebuild all production processes and to Orient them to the Russian market and other countries.”

A day earlier, the participants of the trade embargo has installed a new checkpoint on the Mariupol direction. They stated that their goal is “overlap trade and smuggling in the direction Donetsk — Mariupol”.

Earlier in February, activists stopped traffic on the railway Yasinovataya (under the control of militias), Kostiantynivka (under the control of Kiev). Before that, they “freeze” movement on the railway tracks near the town of Bakhmut Donetsk region (the road leads to Gorlovka on the territory of DND).

Activists with the support of several Kiev politicians began a trade blockade of the region in January. Because of their actions, Ukraine has ceased to receive the necessary amount of coal that led to an emergency regime in the energy sector in the country.
