The Russian foreign Ministry commented on the terrorist attack in HOMS
MOSCOW, 26 Feb — RIA Novosti. Moscow condemns the barbaric actions of extremists, these acts must receive rigorous assessment, and the organizers were punished, said Sunday the foreign Ministry of the Russian Federation in connection with the attack in HOMS, Syria.
Earlier in the city of HOMS terrorist group “dzhebhat an-Nusra” (banned in Russia — ed.) has carried out a series of terrorist attacks. Suicide bombers blew themselves up in the building of the Department of state security and the security of the army, killed at least 35 people, including the commander of the security detachment of the army in HOMS province, General Hassan Dabola.
“In Moscow strongly condemn the barbaric acts of the extremists in HOMS. Such acts should receive a strict rating, and their customers, the organizers and sponsors to incur the deserved punishment”, — is spoken in the comment of Department of information and press of the Russian foreign Ministry.
The Russian foreign Ministry noted that “it is impossible to prevent the realization of the terrorists’ plans to disrupt the efforts of the international community in Astana and Geneva to ensure a sustainable cease-fire in Syria and promote a political settlement in Syria through a broad inter-Syrian dialogue and negotiation on the basis of resolution 2254 of the UN security Council”.
