Resident of the Tula region out of jealousy burned wife and four of her friends

Resident of the Tula region was set on fire the house in which his wife was drinking with four friends, one of them managed to survive. This was reported on the website of the regional Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia (TFR).

The incident occurred in the night of Saturday, February 25, in a private house in the city of Bogoroditsk. Five local residents — a 30-year-old owner of the house, two of his friends men, 32 and 36, and two women, 33 and 39, were drinking alcoholic beverages. “At about 03:00 to said home approached the suspect, who from feelings of jealousy caused by the relationship between the inside of the house wife and the owner of the house, set fire to the terrace,” said the Agency.

The owner received burns on the body, managed to get out on the street. “Death to remaining in the house four people arrived at the scene, allegedly from carbon monoxide poisoning,” added the investigators.

On this fact criminal case on points “a”, “e” parts of 2 articles 105 of the criminal code (“Murder of two and more persons committed socially dangerous way”).

The suspect — 35-year-old man was arrested. “The complex of necessary investigative and procedural actions aimed at collection of evidence. The question on election concerning the suspect the measure of restraint in form of detention,” said the investigators.

In November 2016, the inhabitant of the Novosibirsk region, after a quarrel with his wife because of jealousy doused with gasoline and set fire to his own house. His wife died in a fire three year old daughter and mother-in-law was hospitalized. The girl was taken to hospital with burns to 50 percent of body, the old woman received 90 per cent burns. Against men opened a criminal case under article “Murder committed publicly dangerous method”.
