The President of South Ossetia Leonid Tibilov was posthumously awarded Russia’s Ambassador to the UN Vitaly Churkin Order “Uatsamonga” (the Order of courage) and entrusted the administration of Tskhinvali to assign a street name to the diplomat, “Interfax”.
“In South Ossetia, Vitaly Churkin remember as the most difficult for the people of the time in August 2008 did everything to let the world know the truth about the events in South Ossetia. These days, the Embassy of Russia is grateful to the residents bring flowers,” – said Tibilov.
