Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg adopted the law on equating the meetings of deputies with voters, the rallies, taking into account the amendments proposed by the Governor Georgy Poltavchenko. About it reports to “Fontanka” on Wednesday, February 22.

For the resolution voted by 38 deputies, against — 10. According to him, MPs can meet with citizens without the consent of the government of St. Petersburg only in case if the meeting is pass in a special place — Hyde Park, and it involves no more than 100 people.
