The international Association of athletics federations (IAAF) has allowed three Russian athletes to participate in the rating competitions. However, they can only under a neutral flag. This was reported on the official website of the IAAF.
As noted, the “green light” for international competitions Dan Angelica Sidorova (pole vault), Christina Sivkovo (sprint) and Alex Sokirka (hammer throw).
According to “R-Sport”, six more applications from the Russians was rejected.
Earlier it was reported that around 40 Russian athletes have expressed a desire to participate in tournaments under a neutral flag.
