Acting head of Karelia, the former head of the Federal service of court bailiffs Arthur Parfenchikov saw in his appointment “a sign”. He told this at a meeting with Metropolitan of the Petrozavodsk and Karelian by Konstantin on Tuesday, February 21, passes “Fontanka”.
In turn, the head of the Karelian Archdiocese noted that the appointment Parfenchikov “blessed by the Lord God.” “You have to make every possible effort to fully implement the entrusted to you the trust of the President. We think and believe that you will succeed”, — he stressed.
Parfenchikov also expressed hope to the aid the clergy in their work. “I really hope and count on your help, your prayers,” he said, referring to the Metropolitan.
On 15 February it became known that President of Russia Vladimir Putin has accepted the resignation of Alexander Khudilainen, who led the region since 2012, and has appointed temporarily fulfilling duties of the head of Karelia Arthur Parfenchikov.
Parfenchikov commenting on his appointment, stated that “the right to failure”. He also expressed hope for the support of the people of the region.
52-year-old Parfenchikov has headed the Federal bailiff service in the end of 2008, from 2007 he served as Deputy chief bailiff of Russia. Prior to that, he worked in the management Department at St.-Petersburg, bodies of Prosecutor’s office of Karelia, in particular, Prosecutor of Petrozavodsk.
