Medvedev signed a decree on expanding the Taman seaport

Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev signed a decree on the expansion of the sea port of Taman in the Krasnodar region, aimed at implementation of new investment projects and infrastructure development. The document was published on the website of the Cabinet.

“The port plans construction of a terminal for bulk cargo with a capacity of 35 million tons per year; the grain terminal, LLC “Mriya Taman”; terminal ZAO “Tamanneftegas” (mooring complex of liquefied hydrocarbon gases and technological overpass); terminal ZAO “Tamanneftegas” (transshipment of oversized and heavy cargo). The signed Directive establishes a category of lands and permitted use created artificial land plots”, – stated in the explanatory note to the document.

It is noted that the project is implemented fully at the expense of the investor – of the holding JSC “OTEKO”. It is anticipated that the decisions will contribute to the development of the port and create additional jobs.

The Prime Minister also instructed the transport Ministry to submit the 24-month period, the draft government decree about change of borders of seaport of Taman, in accordance with the Directive.
