Most of the inhabitants of the Eurasian continent still suffers from dull colors of winter and bad weather, and in the Japanese city of Shizuoka Prefecture Kawazu started a traditional cherry blossom festival.
Cherry trees in Kawazu bloom every year before it happens in other regions of Japan, but this time flowers decorated the city earlier than usual due to the abnormally warm winter.
More than 8,000 trees on the coast of the river Kawazu bloom on February 15 and will delight the locals until the beginning of March, reports My Modern Met.
