Lavrov: judging by some of the statements in Munich, the cold war never ended

MUNICH, February 18. /TASS/. Judging by some statements at the Munich conference, the cold war never ended. This was stated by Minister of foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov, speaking at the Munich conference on security issues. Kiev should embark on the implementation of the Minsk agreements, there is no alternative, he added.

Regaining control of Kiev over the border with Russia is possible only after the implementation of the Minsk agreements, which is not observed. According to Lavrov, the progress in the field of security can not be an end in itself. “Our shared goal is the full implementation of the Minsk agreements, which state about the security of the line of contact, the constitutional reform to the law on the special status became part of the Constitution, the Amnesty of all combatants, just as all, without exception, the participants in the events on Maidan square were amnestied, the Minister said. – And then the elections.”
