Five volunteers: who resigned

A series of resignations of heads of regions began on 6 February, when about the early resignation of the Governor of Perm Krai Victor Basargin. The next day, the resignation of the head of Buryatia Vyacheslav Nagovitsyn. Subsequently, on voluntary withdrawal from their posts, without waiting for the expiration of the term, said the Governor of Novgorod region Sergei Mitin, Ryazan Oleg Kovalev and the head of Karelia Alexander Khudilainen.

The whole of the five powers was completed during 2017, and that the law had the opportunity to participate in the elections that will be held in a single voting day in September 2017. For Basargina and Judilynn it would attempt to be reelected to a second gubernatorial term, for the remaining third. But it was abandoned in favor of his younger coworkers.

Five successors: who topped the regions

Age is the first, though not the main thing that unites people who have been acting heads of regions. The oldest of them, the head of the Karelia Arthur Parfenchikov, 52. The rest of the sixth decade have not even exchanged. And all younger than their predecessors. Five resignations and subsequent appointments “rejuvenated” the governors immediately on 101.
