Kosachev commented on the accusations of the US against Russia for breach of INF Treaty

The head of the international Committee of the Federation Council Konstantin Kosachev said that the accusations of Russia in violation of the Treaty banning intermediate-range nuclear forces (INF) are designed to exert pressure on Donald trump, reports RIA Novosti.

Earlier the American mass media spread information that Russia allegedly launched a fully operational unit cruise land-based missiles of a class “earth-earth”, which, according to the American side violates the INF Treaty.

“Leaks in the media — it is a predictable continuation of the information war against Russia and against the normalization of relations with Russia”, – said Kosachev.

According to Kosachev, the purpose of this information is to create obstacles to the new US President to make a “u-turn over the Atlantic” in the sense of the revision of foreign policy.

Earlier it was reported that the American media has accused Russia of violating the Treaty on intermediate-range and shorter-range nuclear forces (INF) after it became known about the testing of new missiles.
