The head of the Crimea Sergey Aksenov said that he is familiar with the Philippine experience in combating corruption in the search for a method by which to defeat corruption in Russia. On Tuesday, February 14, reports RIA Novosti.

“I read part of the speech of the President of the Philippines [Rodrigo Duterte], who said he was one corrupt thrown out of the helicopter. Method is effective, perhaps, but for us it does not apply”, — said Aksenov.

According to him, citizens need to advocate, which is to configure them on the need to comply with the laws. Understanding the inevitability of punishment will reduce the cases of extortion of money from the Russians, believes Aksenov

At the same time, he emphasized that it is unfounded to accuse everyone of corruption without hard evidence. “Most public servants honestly perform all the tasks. And those who do not threw a bad thing to do, those are warning. In the Philippines, not reach, but effective ways to fight will find you,” he concluded.

Earlier, Reuters reported that Rodrigo Duterte was ready to dump the corrupt officials from a helicopter, like you did in the past. Later in an interview with the American CNN, the President of the Philippines has denied this information.

Duarte, who took office of the President in may 2016, also known for his fight against drug lords. In early January, the Filipino leader swore to kill officials involved in the drug trade. He stated that he has a list of civil servants, which involves about 10 thousand names of the mayors, provincial governors, police officers, suspected of links with organized crime.
