Arthur Parfenchikov
The President of Russia Vladimir Putin has accepted the resignation of the head of Karelia Alexander Khudilainen and has appointed temporarily fulfilling duties of the head of the Republic Arthur Parfenchikov, head of the Federal service of court bailiffs (FSSP). The corresponding decree published on the Kremlin website on Wednesday, February 15.
“To accept the resignation of the head of the Republic of Karelia a Hudilainen the A. P. on their own. Assign Parfenchikov Arthur Olegovich, acting head of the Republic (…), freeing him from his post”, — the document says.
During the meeting with the President, as noted on the website of the Kremlin, Parfenchikov said that he is originally from the Karelian province. “Then his career and most of my career has made all the same in Karelia: you modified there to the Prosecutor of the city of Petrozavodsk for ten years working in the Federal bodies of power,” the President continued.
Parfenchikov noted that it was a great responsibility — “to justify the confidence of his countrymen,” and expressed hope that understanding the problems of the region will help him in his work.
The Deputy of the state Duma from Karelia Svetlana Zhurova expressed confidence that the Khudilainen has continued to work in government agencies. “When he worked in the Leningrad region (until appointment to the Karelia — approx. “Of the tape.ru”), was very popular as a politician,” she said in an interview with National news service (NSN).
The khudilainen, who led the Republic of Karelia in 2012, announced the early resignation earlier on Wednesday. He stated that it “considered, weighed me the decision not to go to the polls [of the head of Karelia], to which the left 207 days.”
Alexander Khudilainen became the fifth head of the region since the beginning of February, adopted a decision on early retirement. Previously, resigned the Governor of Ryazan region Oleg Kovalev, the head of the Novgorod region Sergey Mitin, the head of Buryatia Vyacheslav Nagovitsyn and head of the Perm region Viktor Basargin.
52-year-old Parfenchikov has headed the Federal bailiff service in the end of 2008, from 2007 he served as Deputy chief bailiff of Russia. Prior to that, he worked in the management Department at St.-Petersburg, bodies of Prosecutor’s office of Karelia, in particular, Prosecutor of Petrozavodsk.
