The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation Alexander Bastrykin has instructed Saratov investigators if there are grounds to initiate criminal proceedings and to detain suspects in the attack on the paramedic ambulance. TASS said acting head of the Department of interaction with mass-media SK the Russian Federation Svetlana Petrenko.
“Chairman SK the Russian Federation has instructed the head of the Department for the Saratov region the results of the preliminary investigation, according to media reports about the fact of assault and attempted rape of a paramedic ambulance if there are grounds immediately to solve a question on excitation of criminal case and detention of suspects,” she said.
According to SU IC in the Saratov region, on 11 February, an ambulance paramedic arrived on an urgent call to the apartment where she was attacked by five men. The men began to give the assistant suggestions of an intimate nature, as she immediately reported to law enforcement. Investigators are checking information about the attempted rape of the girl and interview the participants of the incident.
According to the regional Ministry of health, with the injured girl is currently working psychologists.
