Founded by Elizaveta Glinka, known as Dr. Lisa, charity Fund “Fair aid” is planning to do a humanitarian mission in Syria regular, their frequency and extent will soon be identified, told RIA Novosti the representative of the Fund Natalia Avilova.
On Thursday, the Foundation together with the Russian humanitarian aid delivered to Syria more than 200 kg of humanitarian aid for baby offices Terrenskogo University hospital in Latakia.
“Yesterday, the humanitarian aid was delivered, after which we held a series of talks, of course. Because, including, we plan to make this regular Syrian mission to help children affected by the hostilities in the territory of Syria, regularly. It could be medicines, and medical equipments, and toys and everything you need for the Syrian social institutions,” — said Avilova, who accompanied the humanitarian cargo to Syria.
“We gathered information, conducted the negotiations and I can confidently say that the Syrian mission is regular. The frequency and magnitude we will determine next week at the meeting”, she added.
The representative of the “Fair aid” said that the Fund would like 1-2 times a quarter to go to the country with humanitarian aid.
“We have now worked with the Latakia, took the cargo, and next time will definitely bring back all that we discussed with them at the meeting. But, of course, to expand the geography we, too, will go to other regions of Syria on a humanitarian mission,” — said Avilova.
The Tu-154 Russian defense Ministry, which was heading to Syria, crashed in the Black sea on the morning of 25 December. According to the Agency, on Board were 92 people, including the performers of the Alexandrov ensemble and the head of the charity Fund “Fair aid” Elizaveta Glinka (Dr. Lisa). They all died.
