System of antiaircraft defense (air defense) of Russia will be brought into high combat readiness in connection with the intentions of Kiev to conduct a shooting near Crimea from anti-aircraft missile complexes. This was stated by the head of the defense Committee of the Federation Council Viktor Ozerov. His words leads RIA Novosti on Friday, February 10.
“All of our intelligence, defense will be high alert, to not hit random missiles at our territory,” — said the Senator.
At the same time, Ozerov said that Moscow does not consider Kyiv announced military exercises as a threat. “Ukraine, of course, understands that a violation of any of Russia’s borders is fraught with very serious consequences for them”, — he stressed.
The head of the Duma Committee on international Affairs Leonid Slutsky has not excluded provocation during the upcoming firing. The Deputy of the state Duma Ruslan Balbec sure that the residents of Crimea are in no danger, as Ukrainian missiles can’t reach the Peninsula.
