In Moscow will be happy if the meeting between the presidents of the United States and Ukraine, Donald trump and Petro Poroshenko will be held and will contribute to the settlement of the internal Ukrainian conflict, said the official representative of the Kremlin, Dmitry Peskov. “We have no right to comment on the foreign policy priorities of other countries, including the United States of America. But if such a meeting somehow will contribute to the settlement here of this internal Ukrainian conflict, we will only be glad”, — said Peskov.
So he answered the question about how the Kremlin would react to meeting trump and Poroshenko, if it will happen before meeting trump and the President of Russia Vladimir Putin.
Peskov also said that Russia and Ukraine there is no conflict. “Donbass is exclusively Ukrainian domestic conflict”, — said the representative of the Kremlin.
On Saturday, February 4, had a telephone conversation with trump and Poroshenko. The interview lasted about an hour. The American leader at this time was at his Villa in Florida, where he decided to spend the weekend.

The previous conversation between the two leaders took place in November 2016. During the dialogue the President of Ukraine congratulated trump on his election victory in the United States and noted the importance of continuing to support Kiev from Washington.
