“Rayo Vallecano” has refused from Ukrainian footballer because of his political views

Spanish club Rayo Vallecano refused to lease Ukrainian footballer Roman Zozulya because of pressure from fans who were unhappy with his political beliefs. It is reported TASS with reference to the edition As.

First, the club did not pay attention to the position of the fans and signed a player contract. However, after fans posted on the club banners demanding the resignation of the President of the team, the decision was changed.

Zozulya is known for his extreme right-wing political views. According to some, most Spanish fans outraged by a photo of the player with the scarf, which depicts the leader of Ukrainian nationalists Stepan Bandera.

It is noted that from now until the end of the season Zozulya did not take the field as one club refused it, to sign a contract with another team he managed.
