The Kremlin has expressed serious concern about the situation in the Donbass

The Kremlin is extremely concerned about the escalation of the conflict on the contact line in the Donbass. On Tuesday, January 31, said press Secretary of Russian President Dmitry Peskov, reports the correspondent of”.ru”.

“We are extremely sorry that in the course of this attack, people died, and the one on the other side,” — said Peskov.

The incident, in his opinion, like trying to “divert attention from the fragile internal situation [in Ukraine]”. “In any case, all this is undermining the Minsk agreement, this greatly complicates the situation,” — said the representative of the Kremlin.

In addition, Peskov expressed regret about the victims “and the one and the other side” as a result of the attack.

Earlier on Tuesday it became known that the exploration militia received the report of the chief of the General staff of the armed forces of Ukraine Viktor Muzhenko about casualties of the security forces over the past two days. According to the document, the two days of fighting APU lost at least 78 soldiers killed and 76 wounded.

The representative of the Ministry of defence DND Eduard Bacurin stated that the report was presented to the Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko was the reason for his early return from Germany, where the head of state was on a working visit.

The armed conflict in the South-East of Ukraine began in the spring of 2014 after the attempt of the new Kiev authorities to suppress the demonstrations in Donetsk and Lugansk regions.
