Press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov said that the Kremlin know nothing about the plans of U.S. President Donald trump to lift sanctions against Russia. This is reported by the Rambler/news citing TASS.
Peskov said that information about the intentions trump the lifting of sanctions, “impersonal”, so he doesn’t know “how it is true.”
Earlier the journalist of the American edition of Politico, Susan Glasser wrote in his Twitter that several of its sources have reported on the preparation of the team trump the decree lifting the sanctions against Russia. She noted that the document allegedly referred to a unilateral lifting of the measures.
In January, trump said in an interview that he is ready to consider lifting sanctions in exchange for the agreement with Russia on reducing nuclear weapons. The Kremlin said that such proposals were not received.
