Telephone conversation of Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald trump, which was held on January 28, indicates the presence of positive dynamics in relations between Moscow and Washington. In an interview with TASS said the Professor of the state University of new York at stony brook political scientist Jonathan Sanders.
The analyst noted that in the course of conversation between Putin and trump was not touched upon themes that would cause the most acute conflicts between the US and Russia. According to Sanders, this fact is “a positive signal” given, “which reached the intensity of rhetoric” between the two countries in recent times.
The expert also emphasized that the cooling of Russian-American relations is “one of the worst things that occurred in the last 4-5 years.”
