Center for social assistance to the homeless in Moscow’s Lyublino district will be named after the public figure Elizabeth Glinka, known as Dr. Lisa. On Friday, January 27, reports TV channel “360” with reference to the press service of the Moscow mayor.
It is noted that Glinka actively cooperated with the organization, which helps homeless people return to normal life (in particular, the center assisted in the restoration of documents and job search).
According to the national news service (NSN), the management center of social adaptation “Lublin” itself appealed to the city authorities with a proposal to assign it a name of Glinka.
The head of the charity Fund “Fair aid” Elizaveta Glinka was among the passengers of the plane Tu-154 of the Ministry of defense which crashed near Sochi on December 25. The aircraft, bound for the Syrian Latakia, disappeared from radar screens shortly after takeoff. On Board were 92 people, including artists of the song and dance ensemble of Alexandrov, as well as journalists. They all died.
